  We stayed at Dar Qamar to break up a return trip to Marrakech from Merzouga, and we wish we had more time to spend here. The hotel is appears to be down some back street, but what a place it is. Behind the walls is a beautiful pool area and gardens with peacocks. The lounge area was comfortable and there was even some Wifi if you need it. Like many French-run hotels in Morocco you can get wine. - The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.

  We had planned to stay for one day two nights but did extend because it was an awesome opportunity for a holiday from holidays.   It is the 1st time I give the maximum note to an hotel: everything was perfect. The staff is always present to help you in whatever you need, making sure to respect your privacy in the same time. A must to go if you want to spend some time in Ouarzazate. The attention given of the designof every room, all the small details who make the differenece... что говорят » , the kindness of the staff, the location in a quite area just next door from all activities, everything is in place to make you enjoy your stay. - Stayed in the Shehrazad room which was well-decorated, extremely clean and comfortable. AC worked great, which made a huge difference because the heat in Ouarzazate was oppressive. While some have complained about the Vegas feel, my wife and I found the new and luxurious accommodations to be a welcome respite from the other riads we stayed at. Breakfast poolside was also a nice touch.
