  I had a great time at Riad d'Or. It was exactly the type of accommodation I was looking for: one representing the legendary Moroccan hospitality. They would go up from the reception till the roof - Tthe “Superior Quadruple Room” (the Pacha room if you are looking at the riad’s website) easily accommodated two married couples (one double bed and two twin beds that the staff had pushed together) in somewhat separated/private areas. The room also had a comfortable couch on which a short person or child could sleep.   Beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Excellent location very near Medina, but not in the midst of the ruckus. - It's a new riad and very pretty and unique inside. It's worth to stay there for the experience. It's right next to the medina (old town). All staff were very friendly.

Note that the housekeeper has very limited English, but my high school French was sufficient to communicate easily with her. - It's located in the Medina, but not on the busy part of it.   The hotel is located in the old town and we had good experience about the people in the twon. The old lady who kept the house was very friendly even though she could not speak English. Her heart was there in the job to serve. The room is wide with windows open to outside, making a good airflow even though we had to withstand the children's play ... что говорят » noices until midnight. The hotel is located near a water fountain where ladies came to collect - The lady who attended us was lovely, and the view from the terrace was excelent. Really enjoyed our stay at Al Andaloussiya.
