Staff, Beautiful Building, Location. Efficiency of staff and services since we were on a business trip and had little time to spare.

Close to everything. The breakfast was awful. Each day the same and only eggs with chilly. - either omelet or scrambled eggs. The bar is closed at 11 pm. IThe area is becoming "seedy" and dangerous.We did not have enough tim to enjoy the hotel. We could stay only one night because of our schedule. Noise from Street, Poor Bed Lighting, Average Bath. Lack of pool. complicated people come to play, especially near weekend.It is not possible to open the windows in the room. They are not honest, fist they charged the frigobar consume, from me and another guest, which were locked. Second if you pay the rate in U$ accordingly your reservation they charge you in more 10% plus taxes, so why give the prices reservation in U$? and the taxis you pay 20% more than in other Mexico Hotels.The only day we had breakfast, it was poor: missing items and poor staff attention at breakfast...unacceptable for a supposedly five star. we had taken taxis around the city on our own and have a good idea about the rates. the unmarked cab the hotel bellman got for us charged us 8x more than what i think was fair price- 80 pesos to Chapultepec park which should've been around 20 - not a lot of money but principle is that hotel staff is supposed to protect us from sharks. my lesson- always ask bill estimate before boarding.It was never mentioned that its right in the middle of the gay area atnight time there are men practically having sex in front of you theminute u walk outside!!!!. They have charged me for the hotel 3 times and it took me a lot of time to get the money back. I have paid by MC card. The transaction was declined for unknown reason so we have tried again, but actually all transactions were charged. It happened to me also in Acapulco. I.e. If the transaction is declined, do not try another transaction, but check with your bank first. Take all the receipts.
