The hotel is a magnificent Pallazio scale building set in grand grounds that appear managed in a relaxed partnership with Veneto's nature. This boutique hotel is fantastic - Fillipo and his staff were amazing and very helpful - especially with transport and getting to and from Venice.
It is a well designed and superbly fitted out apartment style rooms.
Mestre is a great option to stay rather than to fight getting yourself and luggage to Venice island which is a 15 minute bus ride to Venice.
Legrenzi Rooms are located close to the bus and train station and a great restaurant and bar plus shopping is right outside the door!

I liked staying in Mestre. It was quiet and only a 15 to 20 minute bus ride to Venice. The bus runs quite late and is only a block and a half from the hotel.
