-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt. very large rooms for such a place like Venice... - Our apartments were quite large and pretty. One with canal view, the other with garden view. We felt like home. The staff there was attentive and extremely helpful. They carried our bags up the stairs (yes, stairs, no elevator), but what do you expect for a smaller and quiet little nest out in the heart of Venice. Wifi is free and its fast!!!

The apartment is huge and the owner was so friendly and helpful. The apartment is marketed for 4 people but could easily sleep 6.
Also it was only a few minutes walk from the bus terminal. Not the most stylish of places but it was clean and spacious.

We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment in Castello. The location was excellent, especially since we were visiting the Biennale exhibit and both Arsenale and Giardine are close. The neighbourhood is nice and it is also close to San Marco, etc.

This B&B is located very closely to the train station (5 min. walking) and bus station (10 min. walking). Also the water taxi stop Riva di Biasio is only 2 min. walking distance. The couple Sergio and Marcella are very nice, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, prepared and served by Marcella in their little tiny kitchen. The apartment was very close to the Strada Nouva as stated in the website. It was a nice, clean and comfortable apartment. The staff at Grimaldi Apartments were pleasant and helpful. The location was superb - westayed in the San Marco apt and my parents in the Casanova one. - very close to the ca d'oro vaporetto stop on a small quiet street. The appartment was spacious, 1 bedroom with lots of storage closets and one living room, spacious enough for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids in our case). Anna answered all our questions and was very helpful.
