Arrived at the hotel about 12 noon , asked if we could leave our luggagewith them as the rooms would be ready only at 1 , they checked and therooms were ready so we were able to check in early. The view from my room was breathtaking, the breakfast was sumptuous and the staff was extremely courteous and friendly. Even my room (single) was exceptionally clean and well kept. Everyone, right from the porter to the bartenders, the reception staff, the concierge went out of their way to help me and to make my trip a memorable one.

I was initially a Venice sceptic but the magic of the place, and in particular this modern hotel, made it truly phenomenal.

Also I found the staff polite and professional again making you feel you where in safe hands. - Have stayed a number of times at the Splendid Suisse and would do so again and recommend it to friends. Very well situated with rooms well styled although a bit small. The dining room was excellent and staff most helpful. Beautiful since being renovated especially dining room and bar areas. Bathrobes suppllied lovely touch but would be nice if bottle of water was left in room.

Our airconditioning was not working well and it was extremely hot in Venice, the manager put us in a very expensive room for the last night of our 3 night stay. Our room (#122) was gorgeous - we had a balcony right on the grand canal and only paid 210 Euros a night! It was the perfect place to spend our anniversary. We highly recommend the Principe.
