  Very friendly and helpful staff especially on reception. had trouble with the safe (my fault) and had someone round within a couple of minutes. Breakfast was excellent, lounge area was wonderful with fantastic views and friendly bar staff and free cakes when returning from the slopes. Free hotel shuttle to slopes was very handy, - The Grand Hotel La Torre is easy to find and the staff were great to explain how to arrive at the hotel by train / bus. The location of the hotel is great to go to the Sportina. The hotel offers a free shuttle to go to it. All restaurant / pubs / shops are all within walking distance from the hotel. And the spa which is opposite the hotel is a great place how to finish your day of skiing.

  We had a fantastic time. Very friendly staff, so kind and helpful with our 3 year old son and 5 month baby. Made us feel very relaxed. Lovely bar and restaurant. Great food. Enjoyed lots of lovely drinks and nibbles after skiing. Hotel was very well located in the middle of the town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the bar and the restaurant downstairs.   I can not think of anything wrong. All the staff were very nice and helpful. This place has an excellent location which count the most. - Great hotel, staff always friendly and helpful. Very good location. Rooms spacious, nice, warm and very tidy.

  Quite a large hotel and very friendly and obliging. For example we asked for late check out and we were allowed to keep the room up to 6 pm. We even exceeded that and it was no problem for the hotel staff and we were happy. Huge dinner at night was very reasonable price. Lobby area cosy and relaxing. My two children loved it - so did I.

  The best thing about this hotel was the manageress, Machaela. She was charming, patient and extremely helpful. The room was reasonably large and well furnished, as was the bathroom, though the shower unit was a little small.   Great location for skiing, very close to slopes. Rooms were a bit dated on the first floor BUT clean, comfy and warm. Tea and cakes after 5pm was perfect.Breakfast was good and copious.The heated boot room is a great addition.   The location of the hotel is fairly close to the Sportinia elevators( around 500m from the hotel) and the bus stop of both bus to the elevators and to Oulx. Upon arriving, in our room TV,refrigerator didn't function, however in the morning hotel staff helped with all the problems without request. That was very nice of them.
