  A wonderful place to stay Great location, right on the water. A modern hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter. You don’t pay from midnight to 8:00 and for a few hours mid-day, so it is not expensive or a ... что говорят » problem. It is only a few meters from Via Liberta, Via Garibaldi, Via Torrearsa which are the main shopping and dining streets. It is away from the cr - My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Personal attention and courtesy was given by all the staff: at reception, breakfast bar and evening drinks. Thank you Residence La Gancia, we will recommend you to all our friends.

  The island had been closed for any boats because of weather, so the owner contacted us and proposed to change for the next day. However, it was in November - low season. The rooms with sea view are great (because of the sea view). There is also terrace with swings and chairs. Rooms are big, with small kitchen and old styled furniture. Very cosy. Staff able to book trek to crater for guests, breakfast served at nearby bar with good choice of items. Main reason for visit was the crater trek, but found that there is so much more to do on the island.

  The location, up a private road, was superb giving wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and even a glimpse of the sea. The restaurant was excellent as was the service. Tomasso, one of the waiters, was excellent and also very funny!   Perfectly situated next to the beach with views along the coast and the old town. 2 minute walk to cafes and restaurants. The staff were all welcoming and professional. Room spotless and comfortable. Even supplied insect repellent although no problem with mosquitoes in April.   A very reasonable price in a full apartment including kitchen supplies,etc and two balconies, one with a fantastic view. The staff (Diane) wasexceptionally helpful and friendly and the location was a brief walk tothe town and the start of the castle climb. We wished we had a week tostay here.
