The village of Erice is absolutely beautiful high up with the most amazing views and interesting buildings. The apartment is tastefully designed with excellent facilities and comforts. Massimo met us as we arrived at the hilltop location and helped us to park our car in a free car park and then took us and our luggage in his car to the apartments. He recommended very good restaurants and was generally extremely helpful.
Our two day stay was perfect.

Everything in this B&B was fantastic. We enjoyed staying in La Casa del Poeta dell'Etna very much. Maria, the owner is very kind and helpful. She gave us great ideas and tips on what to see. Breakfast is also very good.
The room is nice and clean. Actually it was two connecting small rooms, with a double bed in each, so staying with children was quite confortable.
The location is great. 30 minutes drive to Etna and to Catania.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. We spent two nights in the hotel and we loved it! The staff is super friendly and speak good English. Before leaving they helped us choosing next destinations in Sicily! On breakfast there were some fresh fruits in a buffet and good Italian coffee. Taormina is 10 mins away by car. Beach is 20 meters away. -

What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania. 2013. The hotel is located in the very city center in the beginning of a
pedestrian area. It is nice looking, new and super clean. Besides all
the neccessary stuff like a bed you can also find in the room a big
sofa, new tv, Nespresso coffee machine, minibar, wardrobe, etc. The
bathroom is also new and bog enough.

We had some delays on our way to Enna and came almost at midnight. The owner came with the keys and used his time to explain things without irritation and stress about out late arrival, considering that he doesn't live there.
We had a room with the window facing a small street so it was very quiet to sleep. On the other hand it is located right in the centre and it takes 5-10 min walking to the major sightseeing. Free WiFi was very useful as well.
