Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh.
Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

We had a very short one night stay but the location is great with easy access to many interesting archeological sites and local points of interest. We would hapily return in the future.

We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed every moment of it. The staff was very friendly and kind etc. Breakfasts were good, service prompt. Everything is very clean and the hotel in overall has a certain charm, you won’t easily find anywhere else.

It was within easy reach of taormina, mount etna and all the other places we wanted to visit..The hotel room overlooked Mount Etna which when dark we could see the volcano spitting lava from the side. Very exciting - Large and clean rooms, consistent breakfast, lots of trees around thehotel

The hotel really justifies it's name - it's some kind of paradise with a high level of comfort - the room was clean and smelled delicious, the breakfast was rich, with local natural food to taste. I would say the best hotel I've ever had in Italy! -
