Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

It is excellent value for money. The room was absolutely beautiful with the comfort of a 4* hotel (air conditioning, mattress very comfortable, italian shower, samples in the bathroom), with a big terrace.

Everything! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and the Spa is simply amazing! Breakfast was very rich with many options and individual orders for type of eggs and coffee are taken as part of their regular service. The general quality of the accommodation was excellent, the gardens beautifully maintained and the location between town and beach perfect. Breakfast was generally good but even though most of the guests clearly came through a UK tour company, local cheese instead of processed packets would have been appreciated. Most guests seemed to thin it was perfect.

However, the highlight of our stay was the superb dining experience combining well presented delicious Sardinian specialties with classy service in a pleasant atmosphere.
I almost forgot, the hotel is excellently located, right on the white sand beach.

It was an exceptionally pleasant stay, like in a family or with good friends. Jurga and Roberto are a nice couple and wonderful hosts. The house and the room are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fabulous, nothing like the common breakfast at italian hotels. The location is perfect, 5 min. walk to the beach with a limpide sea. There's a supermarket, a few pizzerias, and a parc for children nearby. The village is quiet and green. Looking forward to turn back! -

Great Amenities/Views when staying in Junior Suite. Comfortable bed. Very helpful staff as they tried in earnest to respond in English and help with all my needs. For people with cars, their free parking was great and location was very accessible to the city as well as getting out of the city. Really enjoyed the hydrotherapy pool and turkish bath.

The staff were very friendly, and helpful especially the ladies at the reception and the bar tender Pedros. The sea view on the balcony was most relaxing, as was the swimming pool. Although the machines in the gym are not modern, i found it most fulfilling to have a workout there. The breakfast was superbly presented buffet style! Keep it up!

A place to stay full of character. Horses roaming in front of the accomodation, and a working stable across the lawn. Horses being ridden in and out gave the place a flavour of real Sardinia, but combined with a luxurious and romantic room. We really enjoyed our stay here. Despite of its location, the hotel is trying hard to be posh and contemporary and somehow creates its ambient separate from the outside world. It was convenient to have a restaurant attached - it could be too posh in a sense though. - The hotel is beautiful and decorated with a lot of taste. The bathroom is superb.
