  Very good hotel. Closed on Sundays..Staff very friendly and helpful. Car parking for at least 6 cars. 5 Mins from the Lake and easy walk to the shops. Lots of frequent ferries to Como and around the Lake. Would recommend this hotel for value and welcome, especially if the first visit to Lake Como. - Nice hotel, located near lake Como. Staff was super helpful regarding restaurant recommendations, directions and making a reservation for a taxi at 05:00 for us. Il ristorante è molto buono, s - We arrived on a Sunday with the local equivalent of Mothers' Day in full swing plus about three first communion family parties. In spite of the pressure on the family run team, our early arrival was treated very efficiently and helpfully. Our meal later was just what we needed to set us up for the evening, and the super breakfast next day on the terrace with its spectacular view over Lake Lugano was a real bonus. WiFi worked a treat as well. - Hotel is the highest point on the mountain, so views of the lake and mountains below are breathtaking! Accordingly the road driving up to the hotel, was steep and winding - not for the faint-hearted driver. Owners are friendly and breakfast was very nice. Surrounding town of Viconago is well-worth a visit
