We were very impressed by La Girandola. It is only 3 or 4 minutes from the Fiumicino Airport platform at Roma Termini, which is so convenient. The Hotel is outstandingly clean and nicely decorated. Very friendly owner who made us a coffee when we arrived and showed us the main attractions on the map.
Owner spoke only a little English but we muddled through and was part of the experience.
Nice spacious room.
Excellent double glazed windows meant it was quiet at night even in a busy and noisy area.
Location was excellent with all sites within walking distance and the train and metro stations 5 mins walk away.

We used this hotel for a two day city break prior to a Med cruise from Civitavecchia. The hotel is brilliantly located as it is 2 mins walk from Termini Station where the airport express train terminates and also trains run regularly from Termini to the port. Seeing the hotel from outside might be a bit shocking but u can easily get used to it.
The manager of the hotel came down personally to great us. He showed us around the room and gave us a local map explaining the whereabouts.
The room was very clean, spacious. With all the extras: Fridge, cooker, nespresso machine, TV, hairdryer. All the cutleries .

Очень хорошее расположение отеля - самый ценрт, близко хорошие магазины, НО в номере было ОЧЕНЬ холодно. батарее включали только ночью, и то они были еле теплые. ночью еще куда ни шло по температуре в номере, а днем ОЧЕНь холодно. как пример - руки настолько замерзли, что не реагировали на сенсорный экран айфона (он работает от пальцев теплых рук).

Everything. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed and valued as a resident at the hotel. It was clean and up to date. The rooms were functional but not tiny and enabled a relaxing evening after a long day walking around Rome.
The breakfast, continental style was lovely and plenty of it. WiFi was free and it allows for skyping friends and family at home. Altogether a wonderful experience for a city hotel, great value for money.

Spoke clearly and had pre planned all possibilities, including a highlighted map and some fantastic affordable restaurant options which we went to and were superb! Comfortable beds and both rooms and bathroom were sparkling clean! Right in the shopping central but beautifully quiet. Cannot praise it highly enough!

Хорошее расположение, не слышно звуков улицы, очень приветливый персонал (помогали в любых ситуациях), описание номера соответствует действительности, хороший интернет.
При заселении хозяйка провела подробный ликбез по достопримечательностям и другим особенностям Рима. При повторном визите в Рим вполне бы остановились здесь же.

Соотношение цена - качество. Номер небольшой, порадовало окно в туалетной (с душевой кабиной) комнате. Приятно удивили завтраки в номер (круассаны, йогурты, горячий!!! капуччино). Спасибо Катерине на ресепшене за гостеприимство! Месторасположение удобное для пеших прогулок по центру. Виа Венето в пяти минутах ходьбы. до Колизея 30 минут прогулок через старый город.
