It was centraly located but close to the sea with amazing views. The staff were very helpfull. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel and our bedroom were spotless. We were met at the reception by 'Gina' who was courteous and pleasant. We were offered a glass of proseco in the garden, taking in the view of Capri, while we waited for our room. The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!!
The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ...
In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

The design of the hotel was wonderful and the attempt at using less electricity with a card system and that the air conditioning went off when you opened the balcony door was impressive. The ride up the hill at hourly intervals was great after a long day
