This Family owned Villa Hotel is a gem of Positano. We were extremely please with our stay in this wonderful place, Mr Antonio made the stay fresh, exciting, welcoming and warm. He was very helpful and full of recommendations and advice. He even noticed that it was my birthday on the second day of stay and sent a very nice champagne with compliments that made the stay memorable.

The staff! They are beyond amazing. Viviana and her team goes out of her way to make our stay comfortable and make sure all our whims and wishes are met. We have the family room on the ground floor by the gardens and there's a jacuzzi right outside on our very own terrace area. The staffs even clean it again right in front of us when we just mention we will use it.

Absolutely everything!! The hotel is so bright and crisp. The bathroom
was spectacular with all the lovely marble and all the amenities;
slippers, bathrobes, lots of towels and anything you may have left a

In 2 weeks traveling around Italy, this is the best, without a doubt.
The staff could not be faulted, rooms were modern and very clean,
breakfast was the best continental buffet, and for the older part of the
city, location was great. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro.
Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in
Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time.
ps. Skip Pompeii and go to Herculeum.

It was centraly located but close to the sea with amazing views. The staff were very helpfull. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel and our bedroom were spotless. The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!!
The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ...
In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

The design of the hotel was wonderful and the attempt at using less electricity with a card system and that the air conditioning went off when you opened the balcony door was impressive. The ride up the hill at hourly intervals was great after a long day

We were met at the reception by 'Gina' who was courteous and pleasant. We were offered a glass of proseco in the garden, taking in the view of Capri, while we waited for our room.
