We loved that it was so central. When we arrived I was not too happywith the original room given, (there was nothing wrong with it, i'm justfussy). A real effort was made to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, only a few hundred meters from the beach and town square. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend Villa Antica Tropea to others.

We were impressed with the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet with a sea view. The breakfasts (included in the price) were excellent. We were delightfully taken back in time of grandeur staying at this beautiful B&B. The accommodations are separate from the main villa, with your own patio to sit and watch the view. The garden was peaceful and relaxing to walk in, Alessandro and his mother cooked the best breakfast that we had on our trip. Classy new hotel with modern and classy facilities. Friendly and helpful staff both in reception and the restaurant. The food was excellent - breakfast was a good selection and the dinner menu also varied.
The pool was excellent.
It was a nice touch for the owner to make a point of saying hello to all guests who were in the restaurant when he was.
