Fantastically accomodating staff, exceptionally beautiful scenery and perfectly finished hotel. The photos didn't do the place justice at all.
On entering our room, the view of the sea, greenery, sunshine and the sound of crashing waves was breathtaking! Our room was not typical of 5* luxuary but had been thoughtfully furnished with a nice firm mattress superking unlike a lot of other hotels.
The outdoor breakfast was fantastcally accommodating with a very relaxed attitude towards time.

This hotel was absolutely breathtaking and perfect for our stay in Stromboli. The hotel driver was waiting our arrival at the port when our ferry came in at 5:40 and he took us to the hotel. There was a sitting room for us to enjoy while we waited for our room to become available. The staff was most welcoming. Francesca spoke English and was able to assist us with everything we needed.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

A great hotel if you want to be in a quiet location. We were very lucky with the room (we had a little house away from the main building) with a great view of the sea. The pool is priceless, wonderful view. Staff was friendly. Go for the aperitivo! Great drinks and wonderful local snacks from 6 to 9pm. -

We received a great welcome from the receptionist and felt valued guests for three days - rare. Room was spacious and nice, breakfast good (most Australians are not used to eating cake for breakfast so this is a bit of a turn-off). The first morning they had run out of bread rolls and when I inquired if there were more, they actually went out and bought some. Now that is service. A wonderful hotel with lovely rooms, finely decorated. Right on the beach. Even has a kitchenette in the room with the possibility of being used for an extra fee. Very comfortable beds. Exceeded expectations! Really liked being in Acquacalda village. Loved our beach-side, large, attractive room with outside sitting area and clever kitchen-in-a-cupboard.
Loved having a scooter to ride around on, which was organised and provided by the hotel.
Very grateful to Signora Milane for getting the rust stains off my washing!
In all, would definitely recommend.
