  Laura and Fabio could not have been more helpful. I had to book Il Duomo for my mother who had a bad fall on the Tour prior to coming to Lucca. I needed a place with a lift and a walk in shower and it turned out to be the perfect choice. There was a step down from the shower, but it was spacious and non slip. We were given a choice of rooms and shown each on arrival. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for a city. Linens, towels and toiletries were of good quality. Breakfast was continental buffet with the nice touch of fresh warm croissants and toast brought to table. This is a beautiful and well-run hotel that I would recommend.

  This is a small apartment block with 10 apartments. It has a small pooland area for relaxing beside the pool. The apartment itself wasexcellent for me and my wife and son.   BandB Le Giare with Massimo, Claudia and their parents was the best accommodation in all of our 8 weeks travel in Italy. It was like going home and the hospitality exceeded that of hotels.
