  The location - it is in Lido which is a breeze to travel to Venice via the water bus, and you get to enjoy the peace and tranquility at Lido. The price is good an the breakfast buffet is wonderful. The staff were really lovely and the breakfast was ample. The rooms are basic but very comfy with a nice TV, hair dryer and free toiletries. Our room also had a small balcony with table and chairs. All the staff were nice, the breakfast was good and the entire hotel has just been renovated so all bathroom fixtures and room furniture is new and in excellent condition. - For a beach holiday it's perfect. Two mins from the vaporetto stop from the main island of Venice, (and therefore, the vap from the station) and on the main road which leads straight to the public beach, 3 mins walk. Lots of nice cafes, shops, very Riviera feel but without the prices. Plus Venice on your doorstep! Lovely staff, nice lounge spaces, good breakfast - and in the garden.

  After a busy day of crowded sightseeing in Venice, it was wonderful to retreat to a quiet, nicely-appointed, comfortable room in a community where families actually live. We enjoyed strolling the streets at night sampling the local restaurants.
