  really great value for price. We were at the turn of November and December. The room was clean, quiet, cosy and the bathroom was large and comfortable. The heating worked and the water was also very warm:) location is perfect. The location was good, you didn't have to walk too far for all major attractions or metro and train stations. The room also looked out over a really nice piazza with lots going on.   The Amalfi hotel is situated within walking distance of the main railway station and is great for making it an easy two stop holiday which is what we did. It is also within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore Church is just across the road. The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving out maps and marking all the places of interest o - My favourite thing about Amalfi by far was the absolutely lovely and wonderful lady who runs the breakfast buffet. She obviously takes so much pride in her work and is so friendly, bubbly and full of energy every morning. She goes to extra lengths to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated and gives a veritable tour of the buffet when the guests come in! What a lovely lady, thank you so much.

  Ercole was an excellent host. He greated us and helped carry our bags up to the 4th floor where our room was. The Bluehostel has 3 rooms on the 4th floor and the others are on the 3rd floor. Be prepared to take the stairs, there is no elevator. We didn't mind at all. The room was cozy and cute with a very comfortable bed, great air conditioning, a... что говорят » nd a large bathroom by European standards. The shower was great with enough hot water, good water pressure, and a nice shower head. The absolute best - The rooms are clean, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We were met by Ricardo who helped us with our luggage and also made sure we were settled in. Also provided us with a map of what to see in Rome, where to eat, drink, shop etc. Everything is thought of to make your stay as pleasant as possible and have to say Ercole and Ricardo were both so helpful with any questions. We would stay there again.
