  We had an excellent experience. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The guesthouses's staff was welcoming and helpful when it came to answering our questions. During the check-in, they even made recommendations of cheap restaurants in the area that serve traditional Italian dishes.   Great Location to start your trip visiting the Coliseum and the rest of Rome. Coliseum is only 15 mins by foot. Staff is extreamly warm and helpful giving me the map and recommending me where to eat, places to visit etc. Hotel is in a old building which makes u feel like u are actually living in someone’s house rather than in a hotel. Would definately stay here again when i’m in Rome. - Location is really great, close to metro stations but for example Colosseum is only a 10 mins walk, the area is friendly so it is also worth walking. The building has recently been renovated, rooms are nice and look like on the pics. Special thanks to the host Gianluca who speaks English perfectly and provided lots of useful information, recommended cool restos and bars to visit. We absolutely enjoyed our being there.

Fantastic shower and bathroom. The location for us was perfect as we were back in Rome for a few days to visit the colleusem and this hotel is a short walk from there. Close to the metro too so easy access to Roma termini and other parts of the city. Via merulana we found had some great food options - especially if you walk a few blocks. Keep walk
