  Marco waited 2 hours beyond the check-in time and greeted us with a smile. He is a wonderful host. The breakfast is at a restaurant next to Sante Croce which is approx a 5 minute walk and it is totally worth it. I think this may have been our favorite part of the stay- a hot drink and 2 delicious pastries. The breakfast makes this a super deal. Nice reception or owner (Mr Marco). Supermarket in front of the hotel. Location is very close to city attractions and everything you need. We had a very nice decorated and designed room, with a large matrimonial bed. Everything was great. This place is an apartment with 5 or 6 rooms. also 3 or 4 rooms outside the apartment but in the same floor. but this does not cause any problem. Reception is not 24 hours. free tee or coffee in the morning

  We loved il Gattopardo! It was in the perfect location for seeing the historical city. The B&B was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and the decor was great with wonderful charm. They gave us directions and advice on where to go and where to eat. We loved everything about Florence from the B&B the Segway - Excellent location in the heart of Florence. Everything was within a short walking distance. Great well stocked kitchen so we were able to make a few of our own meals as well as keep snacks in the refrigerator. Shared bath was very large and kept clean.

  The location was great. Just far enough from the city center to be quiet at night. Only a 25 minute walk to the train station. A kitchen was great to have especially with kids. We could bring home leftovers and the kids could eat them later. Free parking right next to the apartment. It had to still be cleaned but Sara gave me the key - - The room was very cozy, nice and clean. - Location is perfect!
