  M just back from a trip to Italy and had stayed 3 nights at Casa Santa Sofia. Biggest advantage and my reason for selecting this place was the location. Its at a walking distance from Metro station Cavour, which is the first stop after Termini on Blue line. So its very convenient to reach the hotel from Airport.   When we arrived, we had the pleasant surprise to get an upgrade from a normal room to a studio (with kitchenette). The room is very comfortable and spacious enough.. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and nice (though we arrived at about 11am, our room was ready). From the moment we booked we received conformation emails from the owners, and then nearer the time, further emails to check if we required a taxi -- which we did and everything was booked and made simple for us. The room was pretty classic, it won't blow your mind but lets be honest -- if you're - The staff at Locanda Colossea was excellent. They were extremely helpful, and it was great to actually have someone at the front desk during the day. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff even gave us a bottle of wine from the family vineyard (which was a very good wine!). The location was also very good, just minutes from the Colosseum and the Forum. The breakfast was served at a cafe two doors down, and there were several choices including eggs.
