  We enjoyed our stay in Palazzo Vitturi. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good. The hotel is positioned very conveniently at an equal distance from San Marco and Rialto. We had a late arrival but the staff was very friendly and helpfull and we did not have any problems.   We recently stayed at Hotel Al Piave in the 2 bedroom family suite. The rooms were clean and exactly as advertised (2 rooms and a bathroom). Prior to choosing Hotel Al Piave, I had read the negative customer ratings just to see what the worst case scenario could end being, along with how the hotel management responded. The only negative comment could have be - We had a family suite for four, ideal for us with two adult children on the trip with us. Great location for exploring Venice. Easy to get to other areas on foot. Friendly, comfortable & clean family run hotel. Lovely breakfast & rooms serviced daily with clean towels & toiletries. Staff helpful with lots of advice, maps provided & guidance for getting around & where to go.

  This is an good hotel for a family. The hotel staff was excellent! They really went out of their way to accommodate us. We also enjoyed having a family room as these are hard to come by. Very helpful getting our bags to the room, which was no easy task as I was travelling for three weeks and required vacation and work clothes!
