  Familia!!! Before we even arrived at the Hotel Trieste I was in contact with the wonderful couple that owned the hotel. My family's time was limited, unfortunately to only 1 night in Catania. We wanted to go to Mount Etna; see some of the city, and enjoy the food. Hotel Trieste helped organize all of my plans. We got back to the hotel i - The hotel is very clean. The rooms are big. Our room hadd a belcony. We were very surprissed t get tthat quality for the money. The locatio is great, close to everything you wantt to see and busses you need to take. most importantly, it is ran by a young family. I bbegan communication with them even before our arrival. They were great to help us with excursions, directions, etc. We felt veery welcomed and at home. If ever in Catania again, that would be no doubt for us a place to stay.

  Everything. The hotel is situated rather close to the Central Station, it is easy to find a street. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. - Fairly close to the major attractions. The room was beautifully furnished. Breakfast was brioche, cereals, juice, yogurt and coffee. - Very good location and not expensive at the same time, pretty room... что говорят » s. At B&B Opera we had a large and very comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking the street. The breakfasts were generous with fresh fruit served every day. Helped me a lot with info, advices, maps; helped me to book Etna trip. B&B has very nice rear terace where to have breakfast, cigarette or just sit in the evenings. Excellent cappuchinos!!!! :)

  excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... что говорят » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

  Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM.   It is a safe and clean hotel in the mist of a busy city. - Very helpful staff available 24 hours. Very quiet given position of our room overlooking a main road. Very safe and secure. Many hotels in same price bracket probably wouldn't compete.

  I was looking for the hotel that should be inexpensive yet close to the city center, clean and comfortable. The Valentino hotel was just what we needed. I would also like to say many thanks to the guy that worked in the evenings (unfortunately I do not know his name). He was really helpful. Moreover he helped us to choose a tour about Etna which ... что говорят » turned out to be fantastic. - Very friendly staff, the receptionist gives all the possible information about the places of interest. The hotel is close both to the main sights and to the bus stop (we arrived from Catania). The breakfast is very good. The room is clean. Good working facilities.

  At first-extremely friendly, hospital and helpful staff and both of them spoke excellent English. Great location-in the very centre of Catania, not far from Duomo and very close to via Etnea-street of shopping. Hotel located in very nice historic building. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Catania and feel real hospitality of - The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))

Noisy during the day......not a problem as we weren't there! 3 mins walk to the bus station to/from the airport. - great location on the piazza duomo, beside the fish market and at the foot of via etnea. you cannot get any more sicilian.

  A very gNo taood place to stay if you want to stay in Catania and visit the local area . Easy to get to railway staton and bus station. Good value for your money - Nice spacious room right next to the Piazza Duomo! Lovely breakfast and friendly owner (spoke very well english and was friendly)
