Our room had a small balcony over looking the rooftops with a view of the Grand Canal and the towers of San Marco plaza. The desk was manned 24/7 and they were always polite and very helpful with suggestions and questions. It's about 2 minutes walk from the Ducal Palace and the waterbus stop.
