  we loved the roof top pool. and bar area. staff very helpfull and friendly. only to happy to help. we requested more pillows. and the owner brought up to the room. nice rooms and views from the balcony. would go again . nice location in alacantara - Swimming pool on the roof, tasty food in hotel's restaurant. Big variety of food for breakfast.

  This hotel is a real family enterprise, with staff who seem to do their utmost to help you, even extending to walking you down a street to show you where a restaurant is, or letting you hire a relative's car! The hotel has a traditional feel, is comfortable and good value. The breakfast was very nice and the views from the windows are beautiful. All the way up into the medieval part of Castiglione. Fun to drive the narrow streets. Superb views on Etna and the old town from the room and from the 4th floor dining room. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Luckily Mr. Silvio had turned on the heating before we arrived as it was still cold mid February.
