  Excellent location for sightseeing. Beds and pillow (self selection)excellent as were the bathroom and breakfast. Highly recommended. - Staff were friendly and very helpful and efficient. I drove to the hotel and all I had to do was follow the signs to the Best Western Mediterraneo once I entered the city of Catania.I was able to find it with ease.

The buffet breakfast, featuring both hot and cold items, breads, cornetti, cakes, champagne, and juices was not only delicious but the best that we have had in Italy.   We arrived in the evening after long international journeys and were very happy to be met with very helpful front desk personnel. We got good advice on where to eat near by and the neighbouring area. The room was lovely, modern and minimalistic, very restful. The desk personnel are very helpfull with giving good advice on where to eat (pippito) and what to visit in the surroundings (Aci Trezza). Good connection to Catania if you are driving a car. Take care to take a swimming cap with you for the georgeous pool. - Large and luxury apartment of 80 sqm fully equipped with dishwasher, large fridge and freezer. Plenty of parking and a view of part of the volcano top Etna and not far from the city Catania. Approximately 500 m to the beach but only rocks and no sand beach.
