Although it is placed outside historical center, it is very suitable for those who travel by car. The Hotel is new, the rooms are well-designed and very clean. Mini bar is for free!!! - We liked the location, the decoration of the room, the amenities, the comfort of the room, the lobby, and the meals.   We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Villa Tolomei. We had a junior suite with a fabulous view over the Tuscan countryside. Our room was vast and very luxurious. The breakfast was wonderful and varied so no one should be disappointed. You are in a 15th century Convent but everything has been tastefully renovated. The taxi's are frequent and staff will gladly call one, but don't be set on a price; - The hotel resort is a mix of both, renaissance and modern architecture. It is a wonderful jewel as a villa hotel resort. Beautiful high ceiling rooms with beautiful fresc, well designed for amalgamating both the old (restored professionnaly) and a sort of modern renaissance. Will definitely go back, the view and the Tuscany sunsets are unbelievable.
