  It was spotlessly clean and all the necessities were there. The beds were good. The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful.   We really loved the welcome we received from Paulo the lovely lady, who was so friendly and kind.She made us very welcome to Alghero and explained where we could get buses and find supermarkets.   Its a good situated hotel. We spend a week in the apartment and we loved it. Personal was realy kind and the apartment was clean and the beds oke. 1 minut away there is a big supermarket. The pool is lovely. In frond of the hotel is the see and lovely restaurants on the beach. Superplace to stay. Nice place to stay! - Lovely apartment with 2 balconies - one facing the street with partial sea view off the lounge and the balcony off the bedroom faced the pool and had a sea view. The beds were comfortable and we had extra blankets for the nippy nights (we went in early May). Location is a nice 20 minute walk from the old town and there is a beautiful prominade all the way. Loved Alghero and LOVED Residence Picalé.

  Our room was spotless & cleaned daily. The room is a good sized double for the price, perfectly located for beach days & Tony was extremely helpful and hospitable to us! We would stay again. - Friendly staff. Amazing location close to the beach. Excellent price. 30min walk to the city center.

  My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.
