My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013.
As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful.

Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

warm friendly welcome - staff were always obliging. Close to airport and town. And all you could hear really was just the sea. - tranquil, good food attentive staff and a very relaxing stay

The big plus ,staff in all areas were all very polite and helpful. -
The staff were very friendly, and helpful especially the ladies at the reception and the bar tender Pedros. The sea view on the balcony was most relaxing, as was the swimming pool. Although the machines in the gym are not modern, i found it most fulfilling to have a workout there. The breakfast was superbly presented buffet style! Keep it up!

We arrived early and the staff held our bags so we could go wander around until check in. Great breakfast buffet variety. The staff was more than happy to help us and provide information. this is a lovely quiet getaway hotel. Close enough to Alghero town (local bus or taxi) but quiet enough to be very relaxing. For our first few days we had one of only 3 rooms in use - lovely. It got busier as time went on, but still a small enough hotel to be quiet and relaxing -
