  I stayed post valentines day with my partner and unexpectedly got engaged! It was a perfect setting and I adored the decor of the courtyard suites...was only sorry we could not stay and enjoy them longer. Staff were very friendly but not intrusive. We ate in Darbys which struck a nice balance between good (not gourmet) food and relaxed atmosphere.... что говорят » Breakfast in the long room, if lucky enough to have a window seat, is pretty special as well. This is not a cheap hotel but off peak it's amazingly g - Doonbeg reminded me of withering heights driving up to it but has the luxury fell inside like an old manor .   Staff was friendly, service was impeccable. Earl of Thormond restaurant had fabulous food and attentive wait staff. Gluten free options available. Breakfast was delicious as well with many options. Falconry lesson was a great experience with friendly and knowledgeable handler. TJ was a Harris Falcon and not intimidating. The grounds are wonderful and well kept. You just can't beat it. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are large and have heated mirrors so they never fogged up. The staff is hospitable and informative. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return to take advantage of all the amenities.

  Very friendly and helpful staff, (Thanks to the manager for directions to the hairdresser ...much appreciated !) leisure facilities impressive, great value overall - everything and we will return. We liked very much the athmosphere in Ennis town also which will influence our desire to return
