Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk into the city to visit the sites, shopping and dining. Maurice was also very helpful by zllowing us access to our rolm a little earlier due to our arrival time in Dublin. We've booked another night there when we return from our travels around Ireland. -

The reception area was bright and spacious there was a lovely bar area with comfy sofa's-great for relaxing and having a few drinks. The room was lovely and had a nice bathroom with a good shower - fabulous breakfast, very good quality food.ease of access to the car park, no messing with tickets, validation, charges etc.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was perhaps the best part of the whole experience. We were able to lock our bags up before checking in so we didn't have to drag them around the city. Also, the staff helped us with directions, provided free maps, and recommended places to eat. We are regular visitors to Dublin and always stay at the Roxford Lodge. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble...even arriving early in the morning. This hotel is perfect if you want to be right smack in Temple Bar, you don't mind the sound of drunken laughter until all hours of the night and/or you are a heavy sleeper. It was a great place for us to stay. It was cold and rainy when we came in and the first thing that was offered was a cup of tea and to sit by the fireplace. We knew we were at the right place.
