The food, service and atmosphere was outrstanding. I arrived for the Dublin Marathon and was very impressed with the Ballsbridge Hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.

Excellent restaurants nearby - Indian, Cuban, Japanese, seafood and others. Rooms were spacious and bed very comfortable. Excellent discount price offered for our 5 night stay. As my mother lived close by I asked Nuala, the proprietor, whether my mother could join me for breakfast on the first morning. Not only was my mother made welcome but Nuala also provided a complementary breakfast for my sister, who had just flown in from Miami that morning!

I liked the hotel decor. Though my room was small like most europeanhotel rooms the room was charming. The breakfast was very good and Iappreciated getting to order a hot breakfast off of the menu. My friend and I arrived at around 10.20am, we were soaking wet from the morning downpour and there was a twin room ready, they checked us in straight away. The bar was lovely, great service and reasonably priced, tasty food. We went to Dublin for a concert, if we had to go again, we would def stay at the Mount Herbert Hotel again. Thanks very much.

accommodating and breakfast was excellent. All in all, we had a pleasant
3 nights stay in the Waterloo lodge.
