Position of Melrose place is also great, old city of Sko - The owners were very frindly and helpful, which made us feel like home. The location is perfect, combining the peacefyl scenery of the gardens with the very close distance to the centre of the town (approximately a 5 minute walk). The appartments are very beautiful, spacious with a big veranda and breakfast is served in the room. We had an amazing time at MELROSE and we highly recommend it as well as Skopelos island

Skopelos is the perfect destination for anyone who wants to enjoy a combination of stunning beaches and lush pine forests in all its glory. This time we were lucky enough to stay at the guest house Studio Filippos. Everything was perfect. The Studios were - Perfect studios run by the most welcoming and caring family. They called us before our arrival to give directions to the place. Whole family greeted us in the garden with sweets. They were always ready to help with a big smile on their face. Studio was big, bathroom was clean and convenient. Garden was well kept, green and peaceful with lots of trees and flowers.   We stayed at this lovely hotel as we were travelling around the Greek islands. It is situated at the top of the ring road around town. You can walk there from the harbour, its a bit of a slog on foot,up hill all the way, its a good work out but all of the old town is like this. Very quaint narrow streets, whitewashed. The breakfast is by now, legendary and homemade especially the s - The Thea Home Hotel is a very good choice to stay in Skopelos. The location is above the City on the Ring Road and good to reach but nevertheless quiet. It is not a problem to park a car on the road but there is a dedicated parking space as well. The rooms with sea view are nice located and offer a scenic view on the city and the harbour. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
