  The owners and sons Nicholas and Yannis were so friendly and helpful to us. They provided island information, food treats, and even drove us to the ferry at 5.30am.   This was a well taken-care of hotel, stylish and the manager was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious considering the small rooms that are usually available in Hydra and had plenty of sunlight and good view of the mountain.   The view is just stunning!! Definitely one of the best in Greece. We could admire the sea and the port of Poros from the balcony and even from the bed. The rooms are spacious and clean even though the decoration lacks character The terrace where breakfast is served enjoys the same spectacular view and the staff are helpful and friendly. There is also a bus that passes by the hotel every one hour going straight into the town centre which is very handy!
