  Its all about the view so as you arrive and go thru the picture frame entrance its a wow feeling:) reception staff fabulous , friendly, helpful Great feel as Kavalari is built into the cliff. Amazing sitting on balcony it terrace at any time watching the view or lustening to the stillness or the donkey bells or the church bells. Just not worth the experience without it. People pay big money to eat at restaurants to get the same view you have from your hotel. Great staff that were nice and spoke English. Excellent continental breakfast. Reasonable price. Right in the mix of things near the golden road. They had air conditioning.

  Everything that I had read in previous reviews is true and more. From the moment that we arrived Lefteris, Stavros and family made us feel welcome. The two brothers managing this hotel, Stavros and Lefteris, are very friendly, helpful and ready to help every guest with information about region, history of island, villages. The management and staff is second to none, and the rooms are cozy and quaint. The view is beautiful, and the locations was idillic for our wedding. Highly recommended.

  Hotel Zephyros is amazing! We flew in at 6.15am tired and hungry after a sleepless night at Athens airport. We went straight to the hotel expecting to leave our bags with them and spend the day on the beach.   Good location which close to bus station, on the cliff so the view is great! Nice staff and service, free pick up and tranfer service to airport. - The seaview room that is facing the caldera. Awesome. And the rate is reasonable.
