  The hotels is quiet, clean and with a fantastic breakfast. One of us was sick and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. We extended our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. As for the comments about the neighbourhood, except for one street between the museum and the polytechical school it was just fine. My advice is to just avoid th... что говорят » at street (Tositsa) an use one on either side. - We spent here two fantastic weeks without watching tv, so we don't know how it works. But the room was big and clean. On the opposite side of the street is Polytechnic School so we had no "neighbours" looking through our window. Instead o lot of free parking space (in greek meaning ofc). Many police officers 24/7 in the area. Safe and quiet place.

  The staff at Hotel Areos were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel has been newly renovated, so everything is new, modern, and very stylish. The room was very tastefully decorated. The breakfast buffet in the morning had a wide selection of food (including some very tasty pastries) and the coffee was excellent.   This was our second stay in this hotel - the first one had been 15 years ago and we immediately loved both the hotel and its neighbourhood. When we decided to visit Athens again this year, there was not a doubt for a single moment that we would stay at the Exarchion Hotel again. The hotel has been renovated in the meantime, but its essence remained unchanged – the cosy, relaxed atmosphere which makes you feel very welcome - Very friendly staff. The owner of the hotel gave me a map and told which places worth visiting. Also he provided a lot of helpful information about the city. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location is very convenient. It takes 20 min from the hotel to Acropolis

  Quiet and clean at an afordable price - The room was clean enough, and the AC was excellent which is good since the outside temperature is always above 26º. The drinks in the mini bar were also 'just' expensive and not 'extremely expensive' as usual.

  This hotel is chic and very comfortable. The staff is accommodating andwarm. The gym is well equipped; we were disappointed we didn't have timefor the steam room and sauna! Check out the rooftop: there is a greatpool with a disappearing edge, extremely comfortable loungers, a fullbar, great service and plenty of tables.   The hotel is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Omonia Metro in an area that feels safe because there are always people around.
