City circus was my base in Athens when I was travelling around Greece
and my experience there was better than in any other.

Good location where you get a good impression of the Greek life. Hotelroom was basic but had a nice bathroom. Lovely personnel who were very willing to give advise. The girl from the reception even made a phonecall for us to see where we could pickup our boat tickets. We had to leave very early but we could still get some breakfast. The rooms were so quiet, perfect for a good nights rest and the sumptuous breakfast was a great start to the day. Very comfortable, pleasant, and memorable stay would highly recommend this hidden gem in the city of Athens. - We had a room with a balcony to the street but there was a double-door so the noise really stayed outside. As it was quite hot we enjoyed the air-coditioner. Bathroom, bed, sofa, everything was perfect. The breakfast next morning was a next highlight. To the Plaka it´s only a 5 minute walk, up to the acropolis about 15-20 min. We can only recommend this hotel to everyone!
