  Everything about the hotel was good to excellent but the front desk staff, Irini and Toula were outstanding. They were very friendly and provided helpful info on how to best spend our siteseeing time on Crete and in Heraklion. - Got an upgrade to a great room on the 5th floor...very comfortable, quiet, well designed, huge bathroom...   It was a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff and excellent services. The pool was beautiful. I'm surprised it was only 2 stars. - I only stayed overnight for an early morning flight the next day so didn't use it as a holiday base, but I liked the quiet, convenient location.   I always stay at the Olympic when I go to Herakleion. Great value. - it is located in a very central place with many transport facilities and the service is good. However, the room we stayed was small.
