  Our ferry was came in late at night and the Arhontou staff was happy to meet us after reception closed. We chose Sifnos because it is less touristy than many and we chose the Arhontou because we wanted to stay away from the water (for a change) in a quieter Greek town (Apollonia) and Arhontou was just a short walk down to the charming village. We went to Lazarou Beach (more of a cove - no sand) and had some of the bes - Overall good location althought I can be a bit of a trek into town. Pleasant to see the farms below the hotel. Everything was clean.

  My girlfriend and I liked everything about our stay at Sifnaika Konakia. Maria, who runs the place, was extremely warm and welcoming. The room had a lovely view of the Kamares bay, olive groves, and the occasional donkey. It was also within easy walking distance of the beach and the bus.
