  Our ferry was came in late at night and the Arhontou staff was happy to meet us after reception closed. We chose Sifnos because it is less touristy than many and we chose the Arhontou because we wanted to stay away from the water (for a change) in a quieter Greek town (Apollonia) and Arhontou was just a short walk down to the charming village. We went to Lazarou Beach (more of a cove - no sand) and had some of the bes - Overall good location althought I can be a bit of a trek into town. Pleasant to see the farms below the hotel. Everything was clean.

  The room was cosy, everything was clean and It is perfect for someone who has not got a vehicle because both bus stations are near the hotel. Staff is really polite and eager to help. If I go to Sifnos again without a vehicle I will choose this hotel again. - The staff was very polite and helped us in every way they could during our stay there.   We stayed in one of the "apartments" - in fact it is a bungalow, one of several - for one night only. Very spacious, super-clean and semi-private veranda. Excellent location for strolling in Apollonia. Pick-up/drop-off service was really helpful.   My girlfriend and I liked everything about our stay at Sifnaika Konakia. Maria, who runs the place, was extremely warm and welcoming. The room had a lovely view of the Kamares bay, olive groves, and the occasional donkey. It was also within easy walking distance of the beach and the bus.
