  I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Im Schulhaus. Even though it was more expensive than my other nights on the track in Kaub and Sankt Goarshausen, it was much more well-appointed as well. I had a room with a patio and lounge chairs, which was perfect after a long day of hiking on the Rheinsteig. The staff was fantastic as well. Staff - friendly receptionists who offered great service. When I asked about taxis to the local railway station they arranged for the hotel's facilities manager to take me in his SUV!   A nice touch in the heat of the summer was that none alcoholic drinks were provided free of charge in the mini-bar. - Staff was very helpfull and the hotel was a grand old world castle !!!! Very good value for the price.

  I have to say that the Hessischer Hof is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. All the staff are friendly and helpful especially the head waiter who accommodated us for dinner despite us not having a reservation, The room and public areas are furnished with real taste and style.
