Parking nearby was convenient. Staff very friendly and the manager's English excellent so no worries there. Explained everything clearly on arrival so there was no need to contact him, although he said he is contactable 24 hours a day. We enjoyed the breakfast which filled us up for the days exploring. Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

Even if this hotel was about 5 KM from downtown Fussen it was really easy to get there and certainly worthed. Great location and very quiet. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. A pleasant enough hotel, further from Fussen than we had realised (about 8km) but in a pleasant rural setting on the main (but not busy) road. There is a reasonable restaurant attached - when we arrived an had to go into the restaurant to check in everyone was staring at us! Incredible place! Barbara and her staff made our stay absolutely wonderful - we hated to leave! Our room was beautifully decorated in traditional Bavarian style and our room had a breathtaking view of the Alps.
