The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station.

  Останавливались всего на три дня, проездом в Париж. Новый современный отель, понравилось все, жалко, что не выбрали завтрак, чтобы оценить питание. Вежливый персонал на ресепшене. Удобное расположение, в 5-ти минутах Потсдамер плац, сразу за отелем метро, станция Mendelssohn-B - мы брали невозвратный номер, но с хорошей скидкой, поэтому в итоге жили в номере более высокого класса по цене стандартного. очень порадовал бар, который ежедневно пополнялся. сам отель прекрасно расположен прямо у выхода из метро, да и практически в центре города. интерьер очень успокаивающий. на этаже в коридоре поют птички (из динамиков, конечно) и какие-то запахи леса ещё распыляют для полноты ощущений. также можно бесплатно брать на прокат отельные велосипеды, если возвращаешь их до 11 веч

  Absolutely excellent hotel, which is definitely on 5 stars level, helpful staff, ideally clean and nice designed rooms. Generally, the hotel was much better than expected to be. If I'll be again in Berlin, I'd stay there again and highly recommend this hotel for others. But this is not big problem, because there are a lot of excellent restaurants for any taste - Excellent location, <5 min walk to Gendarmenmarkt and 5min walk to German Dome. Closest metro stop is Hausvoigtel which is on a great line and can take you (without changing lines) to the Zoo or Ku-damm (shopping area). Wifi is free, stable, and reasonably fast. Hotel rooms are very well appointed and smart. Some great dining options closeby like Chipps for breakfast. All in all would stay again - really a nice hotel.
