Excellent location only 5 minutes walk to the S Bahn station, with a lift from the street directly down to the platform.
Plenty of restaurants just around the corner from the hotel, Particularly liked Tucholsky, Torstrasse 189. Be aware that they do not take credit cards.

The staff was very friendly but some appeared a bit reserved.
The location is great, it took about 20min to walk to the central station/city (the neighborhood is also very good).
If you prefer the metro the nearest station is just down the street.

We loved its proximity to the main train station (it can be reached in around 10 min walk). However, the area in which it is located is under construction so reaching the hotel carrying luggage was quite a pain (took us 25 min). In our room we found some brochures at the back of which there were some discount coupons for Madame Tussauds and Sealife. We were happy to use them and get 2 tickets for the price of 1. We were upgraded to Presidential level and we were so pleased. our room was amazing and our overall stay in the hotel could not be faulted. - Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate delivered to our room anytime.

1, This is a new hotel in a nice residential area only three subway
stops from the zoo station. The subway stop is a block away.

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. It is very convenient to the U-bahn and S-bahn. Excellent breakfast. - The hotel is fairly close to the metro stop. Also, it's very clean and good value for money.
