Very good located in "Kreuzberg" with lots of nice bars and restaurants next door. Perfect as a starting point for a city trip. New and modern rooms and bathroom with all you need. Big flat Screen. Free Wifi. Very good breakfast with Mediterranean touch. Subway Station "Görlitzer Tor" in 100 m. -

Lovely hotel, friendly and professional staff, good location, excellent air conditioning (the main reason I booked that particular hotel - August in Berlin can be stifling!). Superbly efficient, rapid and courteous check in despite many guests ariving at same time. Many De Luxe hotels could learn from Mercure's staff and their work systems. Hotel facilities and standards are excellent as is access to Berlin's U & S Bahn tram/train systems with the stations right by the hotel. Reaching Alexander Platz is just a10 min journey. Overall a very well appointed hotel, fantastic value for money compared with other hotels and staff were extremely attentive and helpful.
