  Excellent location, within walking distance of many places of interest. Stasi exhibition, Topography of Terror, Checkpoint Charlie, all in the immediate vicinity. Can walk to Brandenburg Gate/Unter Den Linden which we did with 2 young children and kids Grandmother. Stadmitte U Bahn also very close. In Check Point Charlie you can get on “hop on hop off “tour buses if you want. Only 5 min walking to metro station where from there you can start using Berlin great public transport metro & tram connections. Parking was 5euros per day if you buy from the hotel, but as I arrived late afternoon and left very early in the morning, i managed to find free parking 300metres from the hotel, just look around the residential areas if you dont want to

  The apartment was great! We were a group of 9 girls in our late 20s & there was plenty of room for us all. Only 2 bathrooms so was hectic when all trying to shower but we made it work! There's a supermarket 3 blocks away or a small one opposite, & a taxi rank outside Checkpoint Charlie. Would def recommend staying there! - Great location near the underground, close by to supermarkets and good cafes and checkpoint charlie. Very spacious and comfortable, bedrooms downstairs gave us freedom to enjoy ourselves in lounge without worrying our footsteps would be making noise for neighbours. Balcony as well and a very quiet area, no problems sleeping at all. Would definitely stay again.
