Staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent, within walking distance of several notable sites in Berlin, including Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate. I was actually amazed by the hotel. I hadn't expected this standard at all. The bathroom was just beautiful! And I have a particular bee in my bonnet about hotel bathrooms. We chose this hotel both for location and price for a long, Xmas market weekend. On arrival, we were informed that our room rate (c€75/night) was inclusive of breakfast, soft drinks and hot drinks, which was a real bonus. The location is in the center of the city, the room and the hotel facilities were in high level, and the staff was very nice. - The service was exceptionally good. When we ordered room service, out food came relatively fast and was delicious.

Very modern and new, bathroom was spotless (probably one of the best I've ever stayed in), however unfortunately the floor was filthy. So much dust that any clothes dropped were covered. Good location, close to all areas when hiring a bike.

Hotel was walking distance to most of the sights. Once you find the hotel it is easy to find your way back. The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station.
