The hotel was absolutely great!!! Very centrally located, lots of shops, clubs and restaurants nearby. I arrived at Friedrichstrasse train station and walked in less than 5 min to the hotel. The position was fantastic. S Bahn outside the door, yet only two blocks and you were over the ever at the first Museums . Trams outside the door also. Staff were more helpful and friendly than anywhere else, happy to make me a cup of tea late at night. Washing facilities, everything new, large room and bathroom. Plenty of lounge and outdoor court

Great location for exploring berlin, easy walk to all major site's and metro right outside front door. Place was very clean, room was a good size, had a good bathroom, was quiet and was very cheap for quality of rooms. Building also had a kitchen available to use and also free washing machine and dryer which is very handy. It's a mix of dorms and private hotel rooms (which i had) and i would stay here again when in Berlin.

The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay.
Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome!
I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)

I really like the Aquino! It is a serene hotel yet it is very central in Berlin. The staff are always helpful and its very clean and does not crowd over you. It is always my first choice when am in Berlin though it is not always possible to get a room. -
